Habu Textiles

I like what it says in the website homepage, http://www.habutextiles.com/textiles ' . . .  We seek for fabrics, which are not necessary functional, but beautiful as it is.  A weaver is asked to create pleasing, unique, beautiful length of fabric without considering what the end use might be.  The resulting fabric might be short or long, wide or narrow and it is up to the customer to decide whether to exercise her/his creativity and make somethng from it or simply enjoy and appreciate it as an example of superb craftsmanship.  We hope that those textiles will offer inspiration,  . . . '
And that is what I believe when making my ceramic pieces and paper cuts, to establish some sort of communication between myself and the people looking at my works.
