  1. The stitches are not as refine as the hilltribes in Asia, yet this piece of embroidery presents beauty of its own.

  2. These stitches are quite common in embroidered textiles from Central Asia, thus give it that distinct look besides the bigger motifs and patterns. There are a couple of pieces with incredibly intricate needlework displayed at the Isamic Arts Museum textile section. The painstaking work will literally take your breath away, for a few seconds! It still happens to me.
